Questions

Is coaching right for me?

The questions people ask before they buy, answered straight, including the ones where the honest answer is that coaching isn't what you need.

Is coaching right for me?

I've tried programs before and they didn't stick. Why would this be different?

Because most programs hand you a plan and leave. The plan is rarely the problem, what breaks is the week where work goes sideways and nobody notices you've stopped. Coaching is structured around that week: someone is looking at what you actually did, and the plan adjusts rather than sitting there reproaching you.

I'm not an athlete. Is this for me?

Yes, and that's the intended audience. The people this works best for are adults in their thirties, forties and fifties who want to stay active and capable, not competitors. 'Active adult' here means someone who wants their body to keep letting them do the things they enjoy.

I'm barely exercising at all right now. Is it too early?

No. PATH Foundations exists precisely for the point where you know something needs to change but not what. You don't need to arrive already sorted.

I train seriously. Is this too basic?

Depends which program. Foundations would be too basic. Fuel, Endurance and Recovery assume you're already training and work on the layer around it, fueling, hydration, recovery , which is where most experienced people are actually leaving progress behind.

I don't have much time.

Photographing a meal takes seconds and logging a session takes about a minute. The tracking is deliberately low-effort, because tracking you abandon is worse than none. Sessions are scheduled around you and there's no homework beyond living your week.

What coaching is, and what it isn't

Are you a doctor or a dietitian?

Neither. Daniel is a health and wellness coach and an experienced fitness trainer. He does not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatment, or order and interpret lab work. Coaching is nutrition, training and lifestyle guidance for adults.

Can you help if I have a diagnosed medical condition?

Coaching can work alongside your medical care, never instead of it. Tell us about the condition at intake, keep your own doctor or provider in the loop, and anything that belongs with them gets sent back to them. That referral is always to your own provider, never to a specific practice.

Can you help me lose weight?

Weight often changes when people eat and train better, but it isn't what the coaching is aimed at and no amount of it is promised. The programs target things you can feel and act on, energy, digestion, recovery, strength, staying available to train. If a specific weight target is your only goal, this probably isn't the right fit, and it's better to know that before you pay.

I have a history of disordered eating. Is this safe for me?

Please raise it on a discovery call before starting. Food logging and photographing meals are unhelpful or actively harmful for some people, and that matters more than filling a coaching place. Depending on the situation the right answer may be adapting how tracking works, or working with a clinician who specializes in this instead. We'd say so plainly.

Will you give me a meal plan?

No. Rigid meal plans are a large part of why people quit. You get guidance matched to your program and feedback on what you actually ate, which sounds looser and works better.

Choosing a program

How do I know which program to pick?

The honest test isn't what you want to achieve, it's what stops you. Can't stay consistent → Foundations. Feel heavy and unreliable → Fuel. Training for something and falling apart late → Endurance. Breaking down and missing sessions → Recovery. Want to stay strong as you get older → Vitality. The two-minute matcher asks this properly.

Do I have to do Foundations first?

No. Foundations exists for people who know something needs to change but not what. If you already know your area, start there directly. Plenty of clients never do Foundations at all.

Can I switch programs later?

Yes, and plenty of people do. Finishing one program knowing your real focus is somewhere else is a success, not a detour.

Can I do two programs at once?

Not recommended. Working on everything is how people end up working on nothing. One program at a time is the whole design.

Practical questions

How much does it cost?

Every program is $750 for the full twelve weeks, or three monthly payments of $265. That's the same price whichever program you choose, so the matcher is answering which one fits rather than which one you can afford. The discovery call is free.

Is coaching in person or remote?

Remote. Sessions happen by video, and the tracking and feedback happen in the app between them.

How long does a program run?

Twelve weeks. That's deliberate, long enough for habits to bed in and for changes in energy, digestion and recovery to actually show up, short enough to stay committed to. Anyone promising a transformation in four weeks is selling something.

How many sessions do I get with Daniel?

Six in total. It starts and ends one to one: a private thirty minute game plan call in week 1, and a private next chapter call in week 12. In between there are four fifty minute group sessions, at weeks 2, 4, 7 and 11, with the people who started when you did. They're close together early and spread out later, on purpose. Alongside all of it you can message Daniel directly, and he reads your logs every week.

What happens during the twelve weeks?

You log meals, training and how you're doing, sleep, stress, fatigue, digestion, mood. Your coach responds to it. You get nudges when something's slipping, feedback on what you're actually doing, and activities that reinforce whatever you're working on. The point is that it never feels like you were handed a plan and left to it.

Where do I actually pay, and can I cancel?

Checkout runs on Stripe, the same payment system used by most online businesses. Card details never touch PATH's own systems. Your program terms, including how to cancel, are set out at checkout and emailed to you with the receipt.

Do I get any materials, or is it just sessions?

It was never just sessions. Eight calls sit inside twelve weeks of coaching, and the weeks in between are where most of it happens: meals you photograph get looked at by Daniel, weekly goals get set and read, and short program videos arrive as you go.

The app and your data

Do I have to use the app?

It's where the coaching between sessions happens, so getting the value without it is hard. But nobody's checking your homework. People who photograph the meals they're least sure about get most of the benefit.

What can the app actually do?

Log meals by photo or by typing them in, whichever you prefer. See macros and micronutrients rather than just calories. Log training and how you're doing: sleep, stress, fatigue, digestion, mood. Get feedback and nudges through your twelve weeks. And message your coach directly whenever something comes up.

Do I need to photograph every single meal?

No, and people who try usually quit. Enough to see the pattern is the goal.

Who can see my meal photos and logs?

You and Daniel as your coach. They aren't sold and they aren't shared with advertisers. The disclaimer and privacy page covers this in detail.

How many accounts do I need?

One. You pay through Stripe at checkout, then set a password for the app using the same email address. That's the only login. Use the address you actually check.

Getting started

What actually happens on a discovery call?

Fifteen minutes. What you're working on, what's getting in the way, and whether one of the programs is the right answer. It isn't a sales call, and sometimes the honest outcome is that coaching isn't what you need right now.

What if coaching isn't right for me?

Then you'll be told so. A client who shouldn't have started is bad for both of us, and a referral to something more appropriate is a better outcome than a sale.

How soon can I start?

As soon as you've purchased. Setting up tracking takes about a minute, and logging even two or three days before your first session makes that conversation considerably more useful.

Still not sure?

A discovery call is free and fifteen minutes, and it isn't a sales call. If you'd rather work it out yourself, the two-minute matcher asks the same questions I would.
