PATH Endurance
Coaching for a Race, a Long Ride or an Epic Event
The step up from everyday fueling. A marathon, a triathlon, a multi-day trek, a century ride. Built around fueling, pacing and arriving in one piece.
PATH Endurance is coming soon. It is not open for enrollment yet. Join the waitlist and Daniel will email you the moment a place opens, before it goes public.
Is this you?
- You have a date in the calendar: a race, a long ride, a multi-day trek or a triathlon.
- You cramp, overheat, or fall apart in the back half of long efforts.
- You've never worked out what to eat and drink during sessions, so you guess.
- Your endurance has plateaued and more volume isn't fixing it.
If that's not quite you: This assumes you have a training plan or a coach for the training itself. I work on the fueling, hydration and recovery layer around it, not your interval sessions. If you're not training toward anything specific yet, Foundations is the better starting point.
What changes
Not promises about a number on a scale. The things people actually report after a few months in this program.
A fueling strategy you've actually rehearsed
Race day is the worst possible time to try something new. We build and test your in-session fueling during training, so nothing is a surprise.
Hydration matched to how you actually sweat
Cramping and heat trouble are usually a fluid and mineral problem, not a fitness one, and sweat rate varies enormously between people.
A stronger back half
Most endurance disappointment happens in the final third. That's frequently a fueling failure that started two hours earlier.
Recovery that keeps up with the block
Volume only helps if you absorb it. Under-fueled training blocks produce fatigue, not fitness.
What we cover
The ground this program works over across its twelve weeks.
- Training
- Endurance
- Race preparation
- Fueling for endurance
- Pacing
- Goal setting
What you get over twelve weeks
- A private thirty minute call in week 1, before anything else, to build your plan with Daniel
- Four fifty minute group sessions, at weeks 2, 4, 7 and 11, with the people who started when you did
- A private thirty minute call in week 12: what changed, and what comes next
- Direct messaging with Daniel every week, right through to the end of week 12
- Videos and handouts for your program, yours from the day you start
- Access to Charting Your Wellness, the tracking app, meal photos and training logs, reviewed by Daniel
- Feedback between sessions on your nutrition, your activity and your weekly goals
- Nudges when something starts slipping, before it becomes a lost month
- Guidance matched to this program rather than a generic plan
- Habits you choose yourself, three at a time, tracked so you can see the streak
- An optional circle: a small private group inside the app where the people who started the same week share progress and encouragement, and take on the odd group challenge together. Join in as much or as little as you like
- An honest referral when something belongs with your doctor instead of your coach
$750 for twelve weeks, or three monthly payments of $265.
Most programs hand you static files and leave you to figure it out alone. You do not need more information. You need a system built around your life and a coach in your corner.
It starts and ends one to one with Daniel, with four group sessions in between, messaging the whole way, and an app that personalizes as you go. Your targets come from your own numbers and your meals are reviewed by Daniel.
Every PATH program is the same price. This program is not open yet, so join the waitlist and you will be the first to hear when a place opens.
Common questions
Do you write training plans?
No. I'm not replacing your running coach or your training app. This is the nutrition, hydration and recovery layer that sits around whatever plan you're following.
I'm not fast. Is this still for me?
Yes. Finishing a first half marathon or a long hike involves the same fueling problems as racing one, and often more of them, because you're out there longer.
What about gels and sports drinks?
They're tools, not requirements. What matters is carbohydrate rate, fluid volume and sodium, and whether your gut tolerates them at effort. Some people do better on real food.
How far ahead of an event should I start?
Twelve weeks is comfortable. Six is workable. Two weeks out we're limiting ourselves to not making things worse, which is a real service but a smaller one.
