How it works

Coaching, and the part between the coaching

Sessions matter. But most of what determines whether this works happens on the days you don't have one. Here's how the whole thing fits together.

From first click to first week

  1. Work out which program fits

Take the two-minute matcher, or book a free discovery call and we'll talk it through. Fifteen minutes, no pitch.

  2. Purchase your program

Checkout is handled by Stripe, so your card details never touch our systems. Use the email address you actually check, it's the one that connects everything.

  3. Set up your tracking account

Right after purchase you'll be pointed to Charting Your Wellness, the app. Sign up with the same email you paid with and your account links to your coaching automatically.

  4. Answer the intake questions

Goals, training, conditions, medications, how you're feeling right now, and why you're doing this. It takes a few minutes, and it's what your coaching is built around, this is the step that stops it being generic.

  5. Start logging before your first session

Even two or three days of meals changes the first conversation completely. Instead of describing how you eat, you can show me.

  6. Meet, adjust, repeat

We meet on the schedule your package sets. In between, you log and I respond. The plan keeps moving rather than being handed over once.

Sessions are conversations, not lectures.

Two places, two jobs

One handles the admin. The other is where the coaching lives. It's worth being direct about which is which.

Your client portal

Checkout and booking. Where you purchase your program and book your sessions. Everything after that, the videos, the handouts, the tracking and the coaching itself, lives in the app.

Payments run on Stripe, so that's the name on your receipt. Session invitations arrive as ordinary calendar invites. Nothing to set up.

Charting Your Wellness

Where the coaching actually happens between sessions. This is not a cookie-cutter tracking app, it's set up around your specific goals, your situation and the program you're on.

  • Feedback on your nutrition, from photos of what you actually ate
  • Feedback on your physical activity and how you're responding to it
  • Weekly goals, and an honest read on how they're tracking against the program
  • Direct messaging back and forth with your coach, not a ticket queue

Use the same email address for both. That's what links your tracking account to your coaching. Different addresses, and the two don't find each other, it's fixable, but it's an email to me rather than something that just works.

What coaching is, and what it isn't

Coaching is nutrition, training and lifestyle guidance: education, structure, accountability and someone paying attention to your week.

It suits people who feel well and want to feel better. It also works for people managing a diagnosed condition, provided it runs alongside their medical care rather than instead of it. Plenty of clients arrive with high blood pressure, prediabetes, an autoimmune diagnosis, joint problems or a history of injury. None of that rules you out. It just shapes where the boundaries sit, and we set those out honestly at intake.

It is not medical care. I don't diagnose, I don't treat conditions, and I don't order or interpret tests. The intake asks about conditions and medications for a specific reason: so I know where the edges are. When something belongs with a clinician, I'll tell you plainly and point you to your own doctor or primary care provider, not to anyone in particular.

If you have a diagnosed condition, are pregnant, or take regular medication, talk to your provider before making significant changes to how you eat or train. Coaching works well alongside medical care. It's a poor substitute for it.

Common questions

Do I pay through the app?

No. Checkout runs on Stripe, which is where the money side lives. The app is where the coaching happens, and it never asks for card details.

How many accounts do I need?

One. You pay at checkout, then set a password for the app using the same email address. Sessions are booked from a calendar link that syncs with your own. Nothing else to set up.

Do I have to photograph every meal?

No, and people who try usually quit. Enough to see the pattern is the goal, most people settle into photographing the meals they're least sure about, which is where the useful conversation is anyway.

What happens to my data?

Your meal photos and logs are visible to you and to Daniel as your coach. They aren't sold or shared. See the disclaimer and privacy page for detail.

What does it cost?

Every program is $750 for twelve weeks, or three monthly payments of $265. The same price whichever one you pick. A discovery call costs nothing.

Can I cancel?

Yes. Your program terms are set out at checkout and emailed with your receipt. To change or cancel, email us and it gets handled, there's no cancellation maze.

Not sure which program fits?

The two-minute matcher asks about your training, energy and what's actually bothering you, then points you at one of the three programs.
